“28 cancelled flights are scheduled for today at Lisbon
Airport: 16 arrivals and 12 departures,” an official ANA source told Lusa.
This number of cancellations is lower than that recorded
during Monday, with ANA reporting 32 cancellations with arrival and departure
from Humberto Delgado Airport, after 65 cancellations on Saturday and 39 on
Sunday.
“Constraints” at several European airports and the closing
of the runway at Lisbon airport for a few hours last Friday due to the blown
tires of a private jet, have been identified as the main causes for the
cancellation of flights.
At the origin of these situations are a lack of personnel,
strikes and other aggravating external factors, namely weather, and issues
related to Covid-19 or unforeseen events.
