“We currently have an alternative, we are going to implement it and I think it will go well”, said Rogério Bacalhau, the mayor of Faro, at the end of a meeting attended by regional authorities, security forces, Clube de Motos and the district command of Civil Protection, which represented the central government.

According to Rogério Bacalhau, the solution involves the removal of the camp already installed in an area considered forest land and its transfer to “a space that is urbanised, in front of the event”.
