The products in question are for hair colouing, namely for
“Dark hair”, “Black”, “Chocolate Brasil”, “Castanho Noz”, “Platinum blonde”,
“Light Caramelo blonde”, “Sahara blonde”, “Loiro Dourado” and “Loiro Glam
Shine”, specifies Infarmed.
The National Authority for Medicines and Health Products
states that, within the scope of an inspection action, it found “the existence
in the national market of Cien brand cosmetic products, whose distributor is
the company Lidl & Cia, which contained in their composition the ingredient
Butylphenyl methylpropional”.
Infarmed recalls that since March 1, cosmetic products that
contain ‘butylphenyl methylpropional or zinc pyrithione’, substances classified
as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction, cannot be marketed or
made available to consumers.
In the circular, the medicine authority warns entities that
have these products that they cannot make them available and appeals to
consumers not to use these products.
