According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), these numbers are
equivalent to a growth of 6.5% compared to data obtained in 2011.
In that year, Braga had 181,494 inhabitants, which means
that it currently has 11,830 more.
Also considered the youngest municipality in the country,
Braga has 60,264 residents aged between zero and 29 years old.
Mostly due to the explosive influx of Brazilian economic migrants. SEF doesn't accurately depict Portugal's demographics.
