According to Correio da Manhã, the alert was given by the
cybersecurity company Hudson Rock, which states that the phone numbers are
being sold through a Telegram 'bot', which has been active since January 12,
2021, and that they may be used in 'smishing' and “other fraudulent
activities”.
Mark Zuckerberg's social network had already admitted the
leak, which was due to a “vulnerability” that it guaranteed to have resolved back in
August 2019.
Many of the stolen numbers may be out of date, but the
company recommends people pay extra attention to potential scams.
“Mark Zuckerberg's social network had already admitted the leak, which was due to a “vulnerability” that it guaranteed to have resolved back in August 2019.” And yet, it continues to leak private user info like a faecal incontinence on steroids, lol
