According to Deutschland.de, after running for more than 60 years, the power plants have shut down, thus marking the end of the nuclear power generation in Germany. The Isar 2, Emsland and Neckarwestheim 2 reactors were originally supposed to have been shut down at the end of last year.
Goodbye nuclear power
The three last remaining nuclear power plants in Germany have come off the grid.

Another very stupid move! The German government has decided to get rid of last remains of cheap and clean energy production to instead burn polluting brown coal and import unreliable and very expensive US "frac" natural gas! Is the Germany people sleeping? Apparently, yes! After "not wanting to see" the masoquistic destruction of their Nord Stream pipelines, Germany continues oblivious of the reality! Meanwhile, the German people suffer! But who cares?
