The Food Bank has "over 40 thousand volunteers", spread across more than "2,000 stores", said Ana Vara, coordinator of the Food Bank campaigns in the Lisbon area, on the 'Esta Manhã' programme, from TVI.

Anyone who wants to help can do so this weekend with food items - preferably non-perishables, such as milk, rice, pasta, beans and canned goods -, or through vouchers that can be purchased until the 14th of May.
