Lisbon: Intermittent cloud cover is set to continue on Friday when temperatures are to peak at 31 degrees with lows of 20 degrees. On Saturday hazy high cloud is forecast with highs of 29 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees. On Sunday it will be looking clearer with maximum temperatures of 30 degrees.
The north: Temperatures will be feeling much cooler by the end of the week with a chance of rain on both Friday and Saturday when daily highs are to average 29 degrees with lows of 17 degrees. On Sunday it will be feeling hot again with highs of 30 degrees and Monday temperatures are to peak at 31 degrees.
The centre: The extreme temperatures of earlier in the week are to fall by the weekend with highs of 35 degrees on Friday and 33 degrees on Saturday. On Sunday intermittent cloud cover is on the cards with highs of 32 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. Monday and Tuesday are to be hotter again with highs of 34 degrees.
The south: Intermittent cloud cover is predicted on Friday and Saturday with highs of 38 degrees and 37 degrees respectively. On Sunday highs of 35 degrees are forecast with nightly lows dropping to 22 degrees. From Monday the weather is to remain stable with highs of 33 degrees and lows of 22 degrees.
Madeira: A chance of rain is expected on Friday when temperatures are to peak at 30 degrees with lows of 24 degrees. On Saturday hazy high cloud is predicted with highs of 29 degrees and lows of 23 degrees. On Sunday it will be slightly cooler with highs of 28 degrees.
The Azores: Rain is forecast throughout the weekend with the heaviest showers expected on Saturday when highs are to reach 25 degrees with lows of 19 degrees. On Sunday, and for the rest of the week, daily highs are to reach 25 degrees with nightly lows of 20 degrees.
