The Tax Authority (AT) has issued an alert to the population regarding fraudulent emails, recommending that taxpayers always verify the sender's address.

"Beware of fraudulent e-mails, always check the sender's address", recommends the Tax Authorities.
AT also reveals that it "always sends from the @at.gov.pt domain", so emails from other senders are not related to that entity.
