In a statement, the GNR said that the campaign had the "objective to alert vehicle drivers to the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol" and had five awareness actions, in the locations of Lisbon, Almada, Figueira da Foz, Amarante and Faro.

In total, 479 drivers and passengers were made aware of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The PSP and the GNR inspected 48,909 vehicles, registering a total of 13,691 infractions, 884 of which were related to driving under the influence of alcohol.

There were 2,694 accidents recorded, "which resulted in six fatalities, 63 serious injuries and 903 minor injuries". Compared to the same period of 2022, indicates the GNR, "there were 23 fewer accidents, 8 fewer fatalities, 3 fewer serious injuries and 56 fewer minor injuries".
