There was a new addition to the squad today. After having called up the young goalkeeper Diogo Pinto, from the under-20s, in the first training session before the trip to Slovakia, Spanish coach Roberto Martínez decided to give Louis Nascimento, from PSG, an opportunity to train.

Around half of the squad - including Cristiano Ronaldo - had participated in recovery work in the gym during Monday's session, but all the members ended up training on the pitch, leaving the team at full strength for the second training session.

The game between Slovakia and Portugal is scheduled for this Friday, starting at 7:45pm (Mainland Portugal time).
