The initiative will be extended beyond the initially scheduled end date (September 17th), continuing, until September 29th, to bring art, light and poetry in motion to the exterior of the Museum that José Saramago described as worthy of “all visits, and the visitor swears to return every time he is in Guimarães”.
“Art in the Garden: Monet & Klimt”, developed by the creative studio OCUBO in partnership with the Alberto Sampaio Museum, with the support of the Guimarães City Council and the Regional Directorate of Cultural do Norte, transforms the garden and the side facade of the Museum, next to the wall, in a natural amphitheater where the life and work of two great masters of painting are celebrated, with all the senses: Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt. In what will be the last weeks to watch the outdoor light show.
“Art in the Garden: Monet & Klimt” is open from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:00pm and 10:30pm. Tickets cost €7, with free entry for children up to 5 years old.
