The official pilgrimage program begins at 9:30 pm, with the recitation of the rosary in the Chapel of Apparitions, followed by the candle procession and celebration of the word at the altar in the area.
After a night of vigil, the Eucharistic procession will take place at 7am on Friday in the prayer area, followed, two hours later, by the rosary in the Capelinha das Apparições, the procession, the international mass, the blessing of the sick and the farewell procession.
More than 80 organized groups of pilgrims from 29 countries are registered for this pilgrimage on October 12th and 13th, the second great pilgrimage that Américo Aguiar will preside over in the largest Marian temple in the country, “and this year with a special meaning, since presided over the WYD Lisbon 2023 Foundation, responsible for the event that mobilized around one and a half million young people in Portugal”.
