According to Euronews, the PortAventura amusement park in Spain has turned to solar power to help power its rides and attractions.

The sea of 11,000 solar panels adjacent to the park now provides about 1/3rd of the power for rides such as the 180kph Red Force coaster. The park is located in Tarragona, on the Costa Daurada, an hour south of Barcelona.
