According to a report by NM, Otelo Nuno Rodrigues was one of the social media users who shared videos of the moment. In the images, it is possible to see snow falling with some intensity in Montalegre last night.

This Friday morning, photographer Gonçalo Poço shared some photos of Serra da Estrela waking up covered in a white blanket. "A start to the year with a much more pleasant tone", he described in the publication of the images.


The country is currently experiencing a mass of maritime polar air and, according to IPMA, thermometers will drop, at least, until Sunday, with several regions of the country recording negative temperatures.
