Located on Rua de Santa Antonina, next to the Cruz Vermelha de Seia building, the new Aldi store “aims to bring a very diverse discount offer, with food and bazaar products at very affordable prices for the local population and neighbouring municipalities and, equally, for the many tourists who increasingly choose this scenic region as their holiday destination”.

According to João Braz Teixeira, Managing Director of Expansion and Construction at ALDI Portugal, “Our store closest to the municipality of Seia is in Oliveira do Hospital, located around 20km away from this new space, so it made perfect sense to expand our presence and serve the people of Senense closely. We believe that the new ALDI Seia will be an excellent opportunity for us to bring a bigger and better discount offer to the entire population of this region.”

He also adds: “Seia is a city with a strong tourist and industrial aspect, which is a strategic investment that will boost the growth and image of our brand, in an area that is increasingly visited by both national and international tourists.”

The new store has a total sales area of around 970 m2 and includes a free car park for customers with 68 spaces available, spaces for reduced mobility, bicycle racks, dog parking and charging stations for electric vehicles.
