The supermarket is located on Rua D. Afonso Albuquerque, n.º 100, according to a statement sent to the newsroom.

"This is the first of the ten openings that the company has contemplated for this year, reflecting Mercadona's bet on its expansion plan in Portugal," reads the same note.

The Spanish brand says that this store has generated about 90 jobs, "contributing to the creation of stable and quality local jobs".

"Yesterday's opening was attended by the Mayor of Loures, Ricardo Leão, accompanied by the municipal executive, on an institutional visit to the new supermarket," it can also be read.

It should be noted that this supermarket has a sales area of 1,900 m2 and has 209 parking spaces, including two for charging electric vehicles.
