"Our fire department was alerted today to an animal rescue. The call was for a crocodile on the public road!", they said, in a post published on social media, which showed an image of the plastic toy.

The support page for the Soldados da Paz firefighters also decided to share this story and explained what happened after internet users were left confused due to the realistic nature of the toy.

“Is it true?” asked a user on Instagram. "Fortunately, it's not true. But someone called the Fire Department to report that there was a crocodile on the public road and when the firefighters arrived there they saw a plastic crocodile".

"It can be confirmed that the quality of toys made in Portugal is exceptional", commented the Firefighters.
