In addition to the launch of the competition on the public procurement platform, the signing of the collaboration protocol between Metropolitano and the municipalities of Loures and Odivelas, in the district of Lisbon, also took place.
According to the public tender, the new line will cost 527 million euros (including VAT), 390 of which will be through the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and 137.3 ME financed by the State Budget.
The Line will cover 11.5 kilometers and 17 stations (12 of them above ground, three underground and two in a trench), between Hospital Beatriz Ângelo and Infantado, in Loures, with connection to the center of Lisbon from the current Odivelas station.
It will serve the parishes of Loures, Santo António dos Cavaleiros and Frielas, in the municipality of Loures, with nine stations over a length of 6.4 km.
In the municipality of Odivelas, eight stations will be built that will serve the parishes of Póvoa de Santo Adrião and Olival de Basto, Odivelas, Ramada and Caneças, with a total length of 5.1 km.
