The Azorean executive (PSD/CDS-PP/PPM) justifies the “adjustment of the maximum public sale price” of fuels with “the recent variations in the international market in reference prices for petroleum and energy products”.
It is the second consecutive increase, after in March the price of gasoline increased by 2.4 cents per litre and the price of diesel by 1.9 cents per litre.
From April 1st, gasoline will 1,510 euros per litre in the Azores, 3.9 cents more than in March.
The price of diesel is set at 1,435 euros per litre, an increase of 1.7 cents compared to the current month.
The price of coloured diesel for agriculture and fishing, defined in another order, also increases by 1.7 cents.
The maximum prices of petroleum and energy products in the Azores are changed on the 1st of each month, and in amounts equivalent to the variation in the value of the monthly Europe Price (PE).
