In a statement, the PSP states that the operation is aimed at fighting against organised crime dedicated to drug trafficking, detention, and use of firearms and robberies, with 15 warrants for home searches, three non-domestic searches, and eight for arrests outside of a flagrant crime, taking place in various areas of Lisbon and Montijo.

According to the PSP, 12 of the home searches are being carried out in Rua Carlos Botelho, Bairro das Moagens and Bairro do Lavrado, in Lisbon, two in the neighbourhoods of Loureiro and Ajuda (Lisbon), and one home search in Rua António Oliveira Feio, in Montijo.
