This exhibition promises to delight palates with a variety of cakes, sweets, jams, honey and classic drinks such as medronho brandy. In addition to the gastronomic features, the event presents a faithful recreation of the convent, transporting guests to a time when sweets where the centre of religious and cultural traditions.
The programme for this edition will include several cultural and entertainment activities, such as Showcooking and Sweets Workshops for children, as well as daily concerts. One of main novelties introduced this year is the themed exhibition of “Enchanted Sugar”, by Ana Remígio, which will be open to the public throughout the event.
Artists such as Ally Garrido and J. Andrés, DUO US2, Bruno Sax, and FOOTPRINT Duo will be taking the Coreto stage to liven up the nights, while headliners Virgem Suta, Eneida Marta, Filipa Sousa, and La Plante Mutante will be performing on the Florados stage, closing each day with unforgettable concerts.
