Thursday will stand as the main volunteer morning, but after noticing how much the dogs love the extra love, and how many volunteers were interested in an extra day, we are happy to extend. Come for both, or just one, there is never any pressure, we love seeing new faces!

These special mornings offer a wonderful opportunity to support our furry friends while enjoying the company of a warm and welcoming volunteer community.

Volunteering at the Canil is more than just helping out—it's a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our dogs and our own lives, every volunteer leaves feeling happier, fulfilled and with purpose. Each walk provides the dogs with much-needed exercise, socialisation, and love, most importantly helping them become more adoptable and ready for their forever homes. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to the Canil, your efforts are invaluable.

Join like-minded people who share a passion for dogs! Walks take around 20 minutes, taking the same trusted loop every time, ending with a splash in our canil pool and snuggles. We also provide refreshments for volunteers. You can walk as many as you are able to, every effort helps.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our current volunteers. Your dedication and kindness have made a tremendous impact, and we couldn’t do this without you. For those thinking of joining us, we welcome you with open arms. Your time and compassion will make a world of difference.
