In a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the company "reports on the group's acquisition of a syndicated financing in the amount of €350 million and with a 'bullet' repayment in three years".

The financing, "executed with the support of KKR, is subject to terms and conditions, including guarantees, customary in similar operations", says Greenvolt.

"The syndicate of creditors is composed of an institutional creditor and five banks, with four new financial institutions joining Greenvolt as corporate creditors, thus reinforcing the Company's strategy of building long-term relationships with key financial institutions as it expands its operations in the renewable energy sector", the group adds.

This financing "will strengthen Greenvolt's balance sheet and will be used for general purposes and to foster the development of the group's 9.3 GW utility-scale pipeline, driving the company's next phase of growth," he concludes.
