Furthermore, “strong winds prevailing from the southern quadrant on the coast south of Cabo Carvoeiro and in the highlands are expected, with gusts of up to 70 km/h in the Center and South regions, mainly from the afternoon onwards”, as well as “favourable conditions for the occurrence of extreme wind phenomena”.

On Wednesday, there should be “periods of rain, sometimes heavy, in the North and Center regions during the early hours of the morning, gradually changing to showers from north to south from early in the morning”.

These phenomena could be “locally intense, with hail and accompanied by thunderstorms, especially in the North and Center regions”.
