The event is the oldest of its kind in the city and dates back to 1662, and will include many of the traditions that have become associated with the event including roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes, figs, walnuts, roasted octopus, plenty of food, popcorn, bread with chorizo ​​and other snacks in the bars and taverns in the area.

As has been customary in recent years, there will be two themed dates, the first aimed at children and young people (13 November – Youth Day), while the closing of the fair, on 17 November, will be dedicated to families, with special prices in all spaces.

As a complement, the Portimão Arena will host an exhibition of automotive brands, with new and used cars.

The exhibition can be seen on November 8th and 9th – from 4pm to midnight, 10th to 14th – from 4pm to 11pm, 15th and 16th – from 4pm to midnight; and the 17th – from 4pm to 10pm.

On the opening day, November 8th, the Feira de São Martinho can be visited from 4pm to 1am, while on November 9th it will open from 10am to 1am, from the 10th to the 14th it opens its doors from 10am to midnight and on the 15th and 16 will welcome visitors from 10am to 1am.

On November 17th, the event can be attended from 10am to midnight.
