Hong Kong officials have announced the discovery of dinosaur fossils for the first time on a remote island.

Dating back to the Cretaceous period, approximately 145 million to 66 million years ago, the fossils belonged to a large dinosaur.
Found on Port Island within the UNESCO Global Geopark, the fossils will be on display in a Hong Kong shopping district starting this month.
