This year's edition of the Web Summit, a conference dedicated to technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, will take place between November 11th and 14th, in the Altice Arena and FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa pavilions, in Parque das Nações.
Within the scope of the event, the PSP advises participants to prioritise the use of public transport and, if they choose to use a private car and park on the public road, they must check whether they have left the vehicle in a way that allows other cars to circulate on the road and whether they locked it properly and with no valuables in sight inside.
“Do not display or carry valuable objects, as well as large amounts of money; If you are carrying backpacks or suitcases, always keep them closed and close to the front of your body; comply with police orders with full availability, be a facilitating body for police action and do not compromise your safety and that of other citizens; consult the list of objects prohibited from carrying into the event through the ‘APP Web Summit’” are other recommendations from the police.
If police intervention is necessary, participants must call 112, as well as memorize the telephone number of the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command on their cell phone: 21 765 42 42, adds the PSP.
