The fair, which takes place between 9am and 11pm, is free to attend and you can find. Along with fairground rides, a selection of clothing, footwear, household items and toys.
Albufeira City Council highlights that the first Market took place in the 17th century, in the square of the Church of São Sebastião, which at the time, as today, was popular because the stallholders were exempt from taxes.
“Feira Franca is part of local traditions and culture, being an event where Albufeirenses and people from neighbouring municipalities meet to purchase products at more affordable prices and have fun with family and friends”, highlights the mayor.
Every year, the Fair attracts thousands of people, including residents, visitors and tourists.
