Rich in history, the village dates back to 1315 and is home to Pieskowa Skala, a 14th-century castle built by King Casimir III, while its agricultural lifestyle is celebrated through harvest festivals and a strong community spirit.
Visitors can enjoy exploring the sweeping fields and picturesque countryside of the village, as well as its nearby ravines, cliffs and caves, and the famous Trail of the Eagle's Nests, a marked trail that takes hikers past 25 medieval castles.
