King of Leon, recognised as one of the biggest alternative rock bands in the world, debuted in Portugal on May 30, 2004, at the 1st edition of Rock in Rio, in Lisbon. After that, they took to the stage at Alive, on July 14, 2013. Twelve years later, they will return to the same stage, at Passeio Marítimo de Algés.

The band has nine albums: Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021) and Can We Please Have Fun (2024). And throughout their career, they have sold more than 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide.
Kings of Leon joins names like CMAT, Future Islands and Amyl and the Sniffers, all confirmed for the last day of the festival.
