The districts of Viseu, Porto, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro and Braga will be under warning between 6pm on Wednesday and 3am on Thursday.

The IPMA has also placed the islands in the western and central groups of the Azores in yellow for today due to forecasts of wind, sometimes heavy precipitation and sea disturbances.

The islands of Flores and Corvo (western group) are under a yellow warning until 23:00 local time today (00:00 on Wednesday in Lisbon), due to wind forecasts (south direction, turning northwest).

Flores and Corvo will also be under yellow warning, regarding maritime agitation (waves from the west, passing northwest), between 11 am local (12 pm in Lisbon) and 11 pm local today (00 am on Wednesday in Lisbon).

The IPMA also issued a yellow warning for the two islands of the western group, due to forecasts of sometimes heavy precipitation, between 20:00 local time (21:00 in Lisbon) today and 05:00 local time (06:00 in Lisbon) on Wednesday.

For the islands of the central group (Terceira, Faial, Graciosa, São Jorge and Pico) the yellow warning, due to sea agitation (waves from the west, passing northwest) is valid between 17:00 local time (18:00 in Lisbon) today and 05:00 local time (06:00 in Lisbon) on Wednesday.

The central group will also be under a yellow warning due to the wind (southwest direction, heading northwest, between 20:00 local time (21:00 in Lisbon) today and 06:00 local time (07:00 in Lisbon) Wednesday.
