APORFEST, the promoter of the initiative, has announced the names that could win a prize in this 9th edition and the MED Festival, Som Riscado and Carnaval de Loulé have all been named.

Loulé Carnival is competing in this final, for the second consecutive year, as Best Festival. The centennial event competes alongside other strong names, such as the Torres Vedras Carnival and the São Mateus Fair.

The winners of the 9th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards will be announced on the evening of March 15th, during a gala that will take place for the first time in the South, at the Pavilhão Multiusos 25 de Abril, in the new city of Almancil, in the municipality of Loulé. This ceremony will also be a meeting point for the various actors in the festival industry in Portugal and Spain.
