From February 7 to 16, the Cerca do Convento Espírito Santo, near Loulé City Hall and the Municipal Market, will transform into a paradise for the senses, featuring a vast selection of artisanal chocolates, innovative creations, and activities for all ages.

Over the past 15 years, the fair has become a staple in the Algarve’s traditions, drawing thousands of visitors across Portugal and abroad. For over a decade, Loulé has proudly claimed the title of the “chocolate capital”.

Among the main attractions of this edition are 20 exhibitors from different regions of the country showcasing a wide range of unique, handcrafted chocolate creations, live performances, and interactive activities, including face-painting for children – all free of charge, reinforcing the municipality’s commitment to cultural accessibility and promoting local tourism.

More than just an event for chocolate enthusiasts, the Loulé Chocolate Fair is also a space for socialising and fun, where people of all backgrounds can find reasons to smile. This fair continues to emphasise the value of local and national producers, supporting sustainable economic development and quality craftsmanship.

For 2025, there will also be live musical performances by artists and bands, such as Martin Teutscher, Marc Policarpo, Mário Spencer, and Ricardo Martins. These concerts will occur on the weekends from 4pm to 6.30pm, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Organised by the municipal company Loulé Concelho Global, the event is free to attend, and open to the public every day from 10am to 8pm. Whether you’re a chocolate connoisseur or just looking for a delightful experience, Loulé’s Chocolate Fair aims to be a highlight of the season.
