With participation limited to those over 16, the club competition, whether affiliated or not, will be played in the game EA Sports FC 25, in H2H 95 mode, on PlayStation 5.

According to a report by Sul Informação, the AFA was a pioneer among the country's twenty-two district and regional football associations in organising the Algarve Challenge in November, before winning the sport's first inter-association tournament in the same month.

The AFA will soon provide more information about the Algarve Virtual Football League.
