On Saturday, the Obstetrics and Gynecology emergencies at Garcia de Orta Hospital, in Almada, Vila Franca de Xira Hospital, Santo André Hospital and Santarém District Hospital (Obstetrics) will be closed.

According to data consulted by Lusa, on Sunday, the Obstetrics emergency room at the Santarém District Hospital will reopen, while the emergency rooms at the other three maternity wards will remain closed.

During the weekend, the pediatric emergency rooms at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, in Loures, and Hospital de Vila Franca de Xira will be closed.

The pediatric emergency department at Hospital Amadora-Sintra will be referred between midnight and 8 am and between 8 pm and midnight, only receiving internal emergency cases or those referred by the Urgent Patient Guidance Center of the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) or by the SNS 24 line.

In total, on Saturday, 130 emergency rooms will be open, 32 will be open as part of the pilot project that requires users to call SNS Line 24 before going to the hospital, two will be referenced and six will be closed.

On Sunday, the scales foresee the opening of 129 emergencies, 32 will be opened as part of the pilot project, two will be referenced and five closed.

On the National Health Service portal, users are asked to contact the SNS 24 line (800 24 24 24) before going to the emergency room.
