“The decision by the government to not allow circulation between people and different municipalities, with specific exceptions, prevents the Rede Expresso to operate as normal”, stated the transport company, which owns a fleet of buses that ensures the circulation between the main cities and towns from north to south of mainland Portugal.

In a statement, Rede Expressos said that "all passengers who have purchased their tickets in advance may be refunded or revalidated at no cost"
