Tuesday, January 31 – Let's Walk around the Rice Fields, Porches

A fairly easy, interesting walk of nearly 2.5 hours around the rice fields and waterways close to Silves.

10.00am start - meet at the Café André, near Porches (37.150673, -8.393780). At the large roundabout on the N125 at Alcantarilha take the road for Silves. After 1.5km, turn left towards Lagoa and Fontes da Matosa. Stay on the road and after about 2km you will see the Cabrita winery on the right with the cafe opposite. Chris 913 011 537

Friday, February 3 – Let’s Walk from Mesquita, SB da Alportel

A moderate walk of 9km that will take you through undiscovered countryside, it's really beautiful.

10.00 am start – meet opposite the Lagar da Mesquita restaurant (37.147053, -7.854373), Mesquita. Find your way to SB da Alportel and follow the ring road direction Tavira. Once on the main N270 road drive for about 2km when you will see a right turn for Mesquita. Turn and follow the road for 1km, the restaurant is on the left. Julie 965 753 033
