Lisbon Zoo will, next Saturday, December 3, celebrate this
milestone, at the same time as "dressing up" to welcome Father
Christmas.
According to a report by NM, the Burmese deer is an
"endangered" species. Its main threat is hunting for human consumption
and obtaining the antlers.
Lisbon Zoo is celebrating this birth as a symbol of "hope" in the "recovery" of this species, at the same time as opening the Christmas season at the zoo.
