According to the source, Piornos/Torre crossing, Torre crossing/ Torre and Torre / Lagoa Comprida were closed at 9:15 am, with no prevision of reopening.
For 26 November, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere foresees: “generally cloudy skies and periods of rain or showers, which will be snow above 1600/18000 meters in altitude”.
The road to Pico do Areeiro in Madeira is also closed since yesterday due to snowfall. Worth mentioning, I think, since Madeira is still part of Portugal!

We too had a smidge of snow, just down by Monte REI Golf Course. At first I thought it was foam, then I thought a refrigerated lorry had dumped some ice!! So got out of car and checked, and it was indeed snow. I have photos to prove it. Also Aldeia Nova in Altura had snow according to local sources.
