According to the resolution approved by the regional executive, activities of a commercial, industrial and service nature in the region must close at 17:00.
However, bars and restaurants can remain open until 22:00, but only for making meals for home delivery.
These measures take effect at 00:00 on Monday, February 15, until 23:59 on February 19.
During this period, walking and physical exercise in public spaces is also prohibited after 18:00.
On Tuesday, the president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, had already anticipated that the lockdown rules would be changed during the week of Carnival to prevent the holding of “parties and gatherings”.
A curfew will surely stop the virus.
so idiotic only the government could do it.

This virus is incredibly intelligent, it can clock and it can what day of the week it is. This madness must end soon!

The sooner the complainers listen to the scientific evidence and the government, the sooner we can all get back our normal lives. If we were all together and treating this virus with the respect it deserves, we could be leading normal lives already

The government is suffocating businesses. Only 62 deaths in Madeira due to COVID (22.02.21) namely people +80 years. The numbers don't add up. Curfew is madness as people are rushing around in numbers during the day. There is no rationale otherwise that to control the population and spread fear while politicians get richer.
