It's nice that you are making people go south.. But how about central of Portugal? With stunning views and beautiful hills, rivers lakes and peaceful locations, seriously people are missing out!

Vilamoura? How dull, the beach is flat and featureless. There is nothing but a marina and golf courses.
Quite apart from the fact it is on such low lying ground it is a Tsunami flood zone.
Good luck with all that,

Why would anyone want to live on the Algarve? Prices for everything are inflated beyond belive. Supermarkets, rental vehicles and even restaurants are 3x to 8x as expensive as Greek Islands, Croatia, or Italy. Everyone in Algarve is trying to take advantage of the fact that there is limited supply. Even France is more reasonable. Good luck Portugal.

The best of Algarve is the weather all year round, second is the security, very safe to live in a house with no neighbors, no metal bars on the windows, to walk alone day or night, to leave your car open, etc
THAT is priceless!!! NO other country in Europe or the world has that.

Dont believe it. Albufeira? Its the Blackpool of Portugal. Tasteless and tacky.

Monchique is quieter, friendlier, cheaper and covid free! Carvoeiro is OK but certainly not Albufeira.

The Algarve doesn't want people to move here. Just bring in their money, spend it at ridiculous high prices then get the hell out.

We are from Switzerland and it was our first time in Portugal ????????! I expected it to be a bit boaring! Waw where we pleasantly surprised!! We LOVE Vilamoura. We not golffers ( to boaring) but we rented a villa right next to the gold course! We WILL be back. The people are friendly and the food great ????????. Expensive? Well in Switzerland it’s also expensive! So what????????????

Try living here all year round, it's so boring, i never knew how exciting it was to go buy some eggs, nothing to do except if you want to be a tourist and spend money, yes everything is much dearer than up north and if you think its safe to leave your doors open, think again, no such thing, the Algarve is thr entry point of drugs into the country and to other countries, otherwise its rainbows and unicorns, expensive ones at that.
