Snow weather warning issued

The districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco will be under a yellow warning on Thursday due to the forecast of snowfall, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) reported today.

The yellow warning for Guarda and Castelo Branco will be in effect between 3pm and 9pm on Thursday.

IPMA predicts snowfall above 1,600 meters, with accumulation above 1,800 meters and possible ice formation.
