“The FPF Health and Performance Unit informed that the results of the covid-19 screening tests, carried out on Tuesday, 8 June, at the end of the day, for the players, technical team, staff and the rest of the delegation, were all negative”, said the body, in a statement.
The Portuguese team held a training session this morning at Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras, in preparation for the game against Israel, scheduled for 19:45, at Estádio José Alvalade, in Lisbon, in what will be the last match before the Euro2020 finals, with their first match scheduled for Tuesday, 15 June, with Hungary in Budapest.
Portugal, which holds the trophy, is part of Group F of Euro2020, and, in addition to Hungary, will face Germany, on 19 June, in Munich, and France, on 23.
Euro2020, which has been postponed until this year due to the covid-19 pandemic, takes place in 11 cities in 11 different countries between Friday and 11 July.
