The country had an average of 203 new cases per day in the last week, surpassed only by Cyprus' figures, with an average of 520 new cases.
After Portugal in this indicator comes Spain (157), Luxembourg (98), Ireland (88), Greece (69) and Denmark (58). The countries of the Union with the fewest new cases are found further east: Romania and Poland, with an average of two new cases daily, Hungary and Slovakia (four new cases), Germany (six cases) and Austria (seven cases).
Although not in the European Union, the United Kingdom appears among the countries on the European continent with the highest numbers and an average of new cases at seven days of 360.
The average of new cases in the last seven days in the European Union stands at 39 and 49 in the world.
Among the countries in the rest of the world with more than one million inhabitants, Portugal appears in the twentieth place in a list headed by Mongolia (666 new cases daily), Namibia (618), Colombia (538) and Cyprus.
As for new deaths in the last seven days, in the European Union only Romania (5.01), Latvia (1.89) and Bulgaria (1.17) are above 01.
Portugal has an average of 0.39 new deaths in seven days, below the European Union average of 0.6.
In the rest of the world, Paraguay (16.6 new deaths daily), Namibia (14), Colombia (11.8), Argentina (10.54) are the countries with more than one million inhabitants in the worst situation.
In terms of vaccination, according to data updated on Sunday in Our World in Data, Portugal has 37.5 percent of the population fully vaccinated, slightly above the European Union average of 34.8 percent.
As for daily doses of vaccine administered per 100 inhabitants, Portugal is the one with the highest average in the EU, with 1.75 doses.
Within the Union, it is in Portugal that there is a higher prevalence of the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 among genetically sequenced samples - 73.8 percent -, a percentage that rises to 97.53 percent in the United Kingdom.
The only important bit of a long story:
"Portugal has an average of 0.39 new deaths in seven days, below the European Union average of 0.6."
The rest is fear porn.

1.64 deaths per day? Is than an ‘almost dead’ statistic? Do you mean per 100,000?

Stop giving a green light to the UK to send it’s diseased people to Portugal for holidays and sports events. Allow tourism exchange of populations only when more than 60% of EU residents have been vaccinated and only with countries where rates of infection are low and safeguards or restrictions are in force. After July 19, Britain is going to be a bubbling stew of unrestricted crowds super spreading the virus variants. Shut the borders to them, please. Put people before profits.

Deaths lag rises in cases by a few weeks.
The great unknowns are how much immune escape will the vaccines enable?
How many new potentially more deadly variants will the vaccines create?
What are the long term effects of taking novel vaccines which have shown to spread spike proteins throughout the body?
Remember mad cow disease?
I leave you with this
The Spike Proteins is Actually a Prion?
Posted on May 23, 2021
Another shocking interview that is somehow completely suppressed by big tech. Of all the information in this interview what is new and what should be very concerning is that these spike proteins are likely prions. So when the body produces the spike protein from the mRNA “vaccines” is is actually producing prions. So what does these mean?
Prions destroy brain tissue, mad cow disease is a disease of prions. If the spike protein that the mRNA vaccines are creating are actually creating are actually prions were are potentially looking at the largest mass casualty event in human history.
95% of animals used in clinical trials for coronavirus shots over the past 20 years died within two weeks. These period of time equates to 1 1/2 years for humans. So to follow the same timeline, it is likely that we will see a mass causality event anywhere from a year and a year and a half from now.
I truly don’t know what the world will look like if millions if not billions of people become infected with a brain destroying prion disease. As far as I know there is no cure but Dr Fleming, MD PHD JD

Thank you James, what a relief! Now I don't have to worry about retirement anymore. Since this guy is going to pull out his crystal ball and make up the news before it happens, with 'if this,' and 'if that,' and 'potentially something else,' and 'I truly don't know,' I guess we all can. If you hadn't noticed the world is full of brain damaged people all ready. So I would predict, if the above is true, that the exact opposite will happen, that the vaccines will actually normalize people again! And I don't think that humans should be compared to cows. It's an insult to the cows.
William, OMG XOXO TTYL

Dear commenters, Thanks so much with incredible non-scientific conspiracy insights. I always believed that the world is flat and your thorough assessments of how the S-pike protein is actually a prion! Gosh, what an insight. I heard that the chip in the vaccine is actually going to irradiate nitwits like these commenters within the next 3 months or perhaps they get long COVID, what a joy!
