Questioned by journalists during a press conference on the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in Portugal, Marta Temido said that the measure "may move forward" next week.
Following the constant call for testing, namely "before social events, especially at Christmas", questioned by Lusa on whether the government admits imposing a brake on the prices of self-tests, which have soared, Marta Temido did not respond specifically, but said that the Government is considering “extending the number of tests per individual” – without, however, indicating what that number will be.
“It could move forward as early as next week”, she said.
The Government maintains the "policy of making free tests available in community pharmacies", she stressed, calling on people to take "the tests they already have access to".
This alleged pandemic will end when everyone stops testing themselves! If you’re not well stay at home until you’re better! Remember when we used to do that? This endless roundabout of testing and restrictions will not end until people wake up! Compliance has brought us here two years down the line. Two years that none of us are getting back! I really pity the youngsters being denied the joy of youth because adults are incapable of independent, critical thought! Selfish adults unduly worried about their mortality at the expense of quality of life for the youth and the rest of us who want to live life, not just exist!
