The report by the United Nations Children's Fund places Portugal 25th overall, of 39 countries, with regard to environmental conditions for children, specifically.
The report highlights that around 8% of Portuguese children live in housing with serious problems; around 35% of poor families with children find it difficult to keep their homes warm in Portugal, while 25% of families are affected by noise and sound pollution.
Why is it that western governments give billions to all types of causes in other countries and never spend that money on helping those in need in their own countries?. Charity should begin at home.
No, too busy looking good and putting money in corrupt pockets.
