By the end of this week, temperatures could drop to 15 degrees, according to the 10-day forecast from the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
Today showers are predicted in Lisbon and on some of the cities in the north while the south and the interior of the country will have partly cloudy skies, with maximums reaching 26ºC in Beja.
For Tuesday, highs of 21°C and lows of 18°C are forecast. According to the IPMA, the country will experience periods of very cloudy skies, being very cloudy or overcast on the North and Central coast and with periods of rain or showers, especially in the North and Centre regions, with greater persistence on the coast. There is also the possibility of thunderstorms in the North and Centre regions.
On June 1, which is also Children's Day, the skies will generally be very cloudy, gradually decreasing from the coast towards the interior. There will also be periods of rain, with infrequent showers starting in the afternoon.
On Thursday, there will be periods of very cloudy skies and rain or showers in various parts of the country.
