Lisbon: Rain is to continue on Saturday however there will be prolonged periods of sunshine and highs of 16 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry and bright with highs of 17 degrees and lows of 9 degrees. Monday is to also be dry before rain returns on Tuesday with highs of 17 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.

The north: Following heavy rain on Friday the showers are to ease slightly on Saturday with temperatures peaking at 16 degrees and dropping to lows of 5 degrees. On Sunday it is to be sunny with hazy high cloud and highs of 18 degrees. From Monday the rain is to return with periods of heavy showers.

The centre: A dry weekend is forecast with intermittent sunshine and cloud cover and highs of 16 degrees. On Monday it will be feeling slightly warmer with highs of 17 degrees. From Tuesday the cloud cover is to increase again and the chance of rain is to increase, with highs of 16 degrees and lows of 6 degrees.

The south: There will be a slight chance of rain on Saturday but it will be feeling warm, with highs of 19 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. From Sunday intermittent cloud cover and prolonged sunny periods are expected each day, with temperatures averaging highs of 20 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.

Madeira: The chance of rain will continue into Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 21 degrees with lows of 16 degrees. From Monday the cloud cover is to be less pronounced. On Wednesday there will be a chance of rain.

The Azores: A mainly dry weekend is forecast with temperatures peaking at 18 degrees and dropping to lows of 16 degrees. From Monday heavy showers and sunny spells are expected with temperatures averaging highs of 17 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.
