According to the CDOS source, four people are slightly injured and were treated at the scene and the fifth is a seriously injured person with burns, who was transported to the São Bernardo hospital in Setúbal.

The CDOS of Setúbal did not know, however, whether those injured are firefighters or civilians.

The same source also said that a house has been damaged in Vale de Barris, on one of the slopes of the Palmela castle, but he was unable to say whether other houses were affected or if there are more houses at risk.

The CDOS source in Setúbal also explained that “the head of the fire is under control, but there are two active flanks that are not under control: one towards Aides and the other towards Quinta do Anjo”.
